- Linda R. Mabie, 56, passed away suddenly Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown. She was born Sept. 27, 1948, in Cooperstown, the daughter of Herbert J. and Mildred A. Mabie. A lifelong area resident, she worked as a nurse's aide at Bassett Healthcare. She was a member of the First Christian Church of South Valley. Survivors include her father, Herbert J. Mabie; a sister, Margaret Mabie; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Marsha Mabie and Art and Carol Mabie; lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Mildred Mabie. Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at the Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley, with the Rev. Terence Brant officiating. Burial will follow in the South Valley Cemetery,
South Valley. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon, preceding the funeral. Contributions in Linda's memory may be made to the Cherry Valley Emergency Squad or the First Christian Church of South Valley. Arrangements were entrusted to the Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley
