  	Miss Catherine Rosecrans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Rosecrans of Orchard St., Walden and Frank H. Mabie, son of E. H. and the late Mary Mabie, were married Sunday, October 11th in the Methodist church, Walden. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. C. E. Wagner. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white floor-length gown of nylon net and lace, with a mandarin collar, long pointed sleeves and lace panel insets in the skirt. Her fingertip veil fell from a Juliet cap. She carried a bouquet of white carnations with a orchid center. Her maid of honor was Miss Carole Hines, who wore a net and rose velvet gown, with a nosegay of yellow roses. Miss Patricia Burns and Miss Rosina Sesti, the bridesmaid, wore blue velvet and net gowns with nosegays of talisman roses. Mary Lou Brodie, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Karl Bourle was best man and Walter Roose and James Mott served as ushers. Mrs. Charles Bennett played a brief recital before the ceremony and the wedding music. Mrs. Walter Roosa, the bride's sister, sang "Oh Promise Me." "With This Ring" and "Through the Years." After the ceremony, a reception for 125 guests was held in the church parlors. The bride has been employed by a Newburgh law firm. The groom, a veteran with service in Europe, is an employee of the Otsego County Highway Department. After the wedding trip in the South they will live in South Valley, where they recently purchased a home.
