- Howard Ernest Mabie, 92, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City.
He was born on November 28, 1923 in Worcester; the son of Ernest and Hazel (Burnside) Mabie.
Howard married Eva Martin on March 11, 1942 in East Worcester. She predeceased him.
He was a lifelong area resident who was a member of the American Legion Post 1194 in Chenango Bridge and past member and commissioner of the East Worcester Fire Department.
Howard is survived by 3 sons, John Mabie and his wife Debbie of Oswego, James Mabie and his wife Sherry of Friendswood, Texas and Howard Mabie and his wife Susan of Ocee, Florida; his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in the spring in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester.
