For the same length of time he practiced alone in offices on Guy Park Avenue and East Main Street and in July, 1915, formed a partnership with Dr. John C. Ruman, who became the junior member of the firm. Their offices were located at 39 Market Street and later this partnership was discontinued. Dr. Mabie continuing at the Market Street address up to the present time, Dr. Harold W. Ouderkirk being associated with him in the offices.

chapter, Commandery and Shrine and was president of the Masonic Club in 1909 and 1910. He served as master of Artisan Lodge, 84, F. and A. M., in 1910 and also as a trustee of the lodge.
A member of the Board of Trustees of the Amsterdam City Hospital, he was also, a member of the Antlers Country Club and his professional relations were with the county, state and national dental associations. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church and served on the Board of Trustees of that church for a number of years.
