- Washington Mabie, died at the residence his son, Emmett, Saturday, December 21st, aged seventy years. Funeral services were held at the house and Christian church Tuesday, December 24th, conducted by the Rev. J. H. Bassett. Interment in the South Valley Union cemetery. Mr. Mabie is survived by his wife and one son, Emmett Mabie, one daughter, Mrs. Ina Haner of Chenango,.Broome county, one brother, David Mabie of Amsterdam, one sister, Mrs. Bert Greely and several grandchildren and other relatives to mourn his loss

- Mrs. Jennette Mabie, after a short illness, passed away, Sunday evening, July 18th, aged seventy-three years, at the home of her son, Emmet Mabie, where she will be greatly missed by all. A good mother, a kind neighbor and a Christian woman has gone to her reward, She was laid at rest Wednesday, July 21st. Funeral services were held at the Christian church, conducted by the Rev. J. H. Bassett of Madisonville, Pa., a former pastor. Interment is in South Valley Union cemetery. A son, Emmett Mabie, Mrs. Ina Hanor, a daughter, of Oneonta, and a number of grandchildren; also a sister, and numerous other relatives remain to mourn her loss.
