Huntington, Suffolk County, New York [16] |
- Miss Sarah Maybee, the oldest school teacher of the Huntington School system from point of service has received word from Santa Barbara, Cal. To the effect that her only remaining brother, Jacob Maybee, had died. This leaves only two surviving members of this old time Brookville family. They are Miss Maybee, of this village, and Miss Christiana Maybee of East Norwich. This is the second death this year, a sister, Margaretta, having died earlier this year. Many years ago the farm now owned by the Francke family at Brooksville was the birth place and for a long time the home of the Maybee family
