- Beulah T. Hinkle, 94, of Beverwyck in Slingerlands, died Saturday, November 8, 2003 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of the Capital District. She graduated Weber College of Florida nd thereafter opened a boutique gift shop in North Carolina. Her husband was the late Terry Hinkle, whom she married in 1938 in New York City. She was the devoted daughter of David and Leona Mabie Ter Bush. She is survived by her cousins, Dawn Frees, Rita Flach, Loretta Langdon and Helen Ingalls. Mrs. Hinkle always remembered her dear friends, the late Jessie Burton and Charles Carl and was thankful for Sister Kay and all her other friends. She was grateful for the friendships and care given by Diane Newell and her other health care providers. Mrs. Hinkle will long be remembered for her generous philanthropy in the community, performed with anonymity. She was sympathetic to all in need. She will also be remembered for her elegance and beautiful smile. She was a member of both the Schuyler Meadow and Albany Country clubs, where she enjoyed playing bridge.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 a.m. at the Tebbutt Funeral Home, 633 Central Avenue. Entombment will follow the service in the family masoleum at park View Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205
