- Attorney Leon G. Crary and Mrs. Crary arrived here last week from Albany on their wedding trip. Mrs. Crary, formerly Miss Leta Maybee, of Mexico, NY, is well known in Canton where she was engaged for a number of years in Runione Gallery. The couple were married about 10 days ago. They return to Albany where Mr. Crary has a clerkship in the assembly

- Leta R., wife of Leon G. Crary, Esq, of this village passed away Wednesday morning after a very critical illness. Mrs. Crary who was thirty-three years of age was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Maybee of Mexico, N.Y. She was a young woman of the character and her going is a sad blow to her family and deeply regretted by many friends. She is survived by her husband, an infant daughter Evelyn, her parents and two sisters and one brother, the latter Mrs Bessie Halsey, Miss Ethel Maybee and Joseph Maybee, Jr. of Mexico, NY.
Mrs. Crary was an active worker in Canton Rebekah and Empire Chapter O.E.S. Her funeral took place from the First Presbyterian Church of which she was a member, Friday at 2 pm. The Rev. F. W. Townsend officiating. Burial at Fairview
