Owyhee County, Idaho [11] |
- Mabie dies at DeLamar November 26th 1890, A.S. Mabie, suddenly, of pneumonia. Mr. Mabie has been a faithful and industrious employee in the camp for the past five months and was liked and respected by all. He met with an accident some time ago which caused a large loss of blood, and before his strength was regained was attacked with pneumonia, and despite the closest attention of Dr. Weston and the kindly care of his associates, died quite suddenly. His remains were the first interred in the newly chosen site for a graveyard at DeLamar.
