- Services for Alice B Mabie, a retired elementary school teacher, will be in Trinity Reformed Church tomorrow. Burial will be in Westwood Cemetery.
Mrs Mabie died yesterday at home, 13 Jay St. She was 84.
Mrs Mabie was born in New York City. She lived in Englewood most of her life and for the last 12 years in this borough.
She was graduated from Hunter College in New York, in 1910 - the first year the college had a four year curriculum. She taught school in Cresskill and New York, retiring 19 years ago.
Mrs Mabie was a past matron of Highwood Chapter No 245, OES, of Englewood; past president of the Ladies Aid Society of the Trinity Reformed Church, and a member of the Golden Age Club.
He husband, George, died in 1959.
Surviving are two sons, George of Oxford, and Henry of Tappan; a brother Edward Baker, and a sister Miss Elizabeth Baker, both of Englewood; and three grandchildren.
