  	A SAD LOSS. The home of one of Brandon's best known citizens was overshadowed in the twilight of Saturday evening, when Eleanor, the smiling, prattling little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Maybee, 630 Sixteenth street, was taken from their love and embrace. Suddenly stricken for some four or five days the spirit of the child hovered on the brink of death, and notwithstanding the best medical attendance available, her condition grew weaker and on Saturday she gradually sank, like as to cradled rest. Though but two and a half years of age, the little one was one of the sweetest flowers in the garden of child life, the very joy of her parents, and her charming winsomeness endeared her to every heart and made her a favorite with all who knew her. The funeral on Sunday afternoon was private, the services being conducted by Rev. V. P. Reeve, Rector of St. Matthews. Mr. and Mrs. Maybee have the sympathy of the whole community in their great loss.
