  	Arden Eugene Mabie, 76, of Osceola, Ind., passed away in his home on Oct. 7, 2011, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born Jan. 26, 1935, in Elkhart, Ind., to Charles and Wenonah (Atkinson) Mabie. Arden served in the Army Special Forces during the Korean War and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 93 in Dunlap, Ind. Arden retired from Sharp Steel Service and Penguin Point Franchise in 2007. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann (Master) whom he wed on Oct. 18, 1969, in South Bend, Ind. Also surviving are his four children, Grant (Joy) Mabie, Coral (Lio) Mabie, Leslie (Deron) Kosloski, Charlene (Gary) Mabie-Gamble, and one adopted daughter, Cindy (Merle) Sater; 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary (Robert) Clemans. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Donna Clemans. There will be no visitation per his request. Cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services.
