- Jennie E. Decker, 72, of Franklin St., Port Jervis, died Monday at her home.
Mrs. Decker, a resident of the area for most of her life, was born June 4, 1907, in New Jersey, to Chilleon and Etta Mabee. She was the widow of Burt Decker.
Survivors include four sons: William T. Fredricks of Eldred; Floyd H. Fredricks and Clifford Fredricks, both of Port Jervis; Samuel Fredricks of Pond Eddy; a daughter, Dorothy Shaw of Port Jervis; two brothers: Melvin Mabee of McAfee, N.J.; and Walter Mabee of Greenwood Lake; three sisters: Alice Fredricks of Greenwood Lake; Emma McHugh of Newton, N.J.; and Beatrice Stalcup of Trenton, N.J.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Gray Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard V. Coffill will officiate.
Burial will be in Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville.

- Clifford Arnold Fredricks of Narrowsburg, a retired brakeman/conductor for Erie-Lackawanna-Conrail Rail Roads, died Thursday, July, 1, 1999, in Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, Pa. He was 64.
The son of William and Jennie Ellen Mabee Fredricks, he was born Oct. 24, 1934, in Warwick.
He was a member of United Transportation Union Local-1491; Rockwiew Golf Club; and the Three Pines Hunting Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer and enjoyed gardening, landscaping and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Rose, at home; one daughter, Jody Beck of Capon Bridge, WV; two sons, Robert of Matamoras, Pa and Steven of Norwich; one stepdaughter, Conni Visneski of Highland Lake; two stepsons; Lance Brodmerkel of Narrowsburg and Darren Brodmerkel of Eldred; one sister, Dorothy Shaw of Middletown; three brothers, Sam Fredricks of Pond Eddy, William Fredricks of Eldred and Floyd Fredricks of Port Jervis; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Peter.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 3, in Gray-Rasmussen Funeral Home Inc. Rt. 97, Barryville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 4, in the funeral home. The Rev. Nancy Vonderhorst will officiate.
Interment will be in Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville.
