She was born July 23, 1898 at Green in Clay County and lived at Santa Monica about 40 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was married to Edward Halovaty. He survives. Other survivors include 2 sons, Raymond Lindner, Santa Monica, Calif., and Clayton Lindner, Monterey Park, Calif.; her stepfather and stepmother, Mr. & Mrs. Will Vittitoe, Clay Center; 3 brothers, Ralph Mabie, Green; Howard Mabie, Fort Lupton, Colo., and Donald Mabie, address unavailable; 2 sisters, Mrs. Edith Martin, Manhattan and Mrs. Margaret Hart, Westmoreland; and a stepsister, Mrs. Arlene O'Donnell, Clay Center.
