  Witness-Obituary	Services were held Saturday from the Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home for James Edwin Pease. Mr. Pease passed away Dec. 6 [1967] at his residence, 1709 Hickory St., Alma. Rites were conducted by Rev. George Elliott and interment was in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Pease was born Sept. 24, 1875 in Hersey. He was married to Mary White in Mecosta County on April 8, 1896 and was a farmer and factory worker, at one time with Chrysler-DeSota. Besides his widow, Mrs. Mary Pease, he leaves four sons, Charles of Ferndale, Clinton of Muncie, Ind., Alex of Alma, and Kenneth of Pontiac. Three daughters, Mrs. Lydia Lindsay, Mrs. Nettie Root of Alma, Mrs. Mary Beard of Elm Hall, 26 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also survive.

  	Entered Into Eternal Rest Tuesday, July 28, 1970 MARY E. PEASE Alma - Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday [07/31/1970] at Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home for Mrs. Mary E. Pease, 94, of 1709 Hickory. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Pease died Tuesday [07/28/1970] at a local hospital. She was a native of Mecosta County and a member of First Methodist Church. She is survived by four sons, Charles of Lapeer, Clinton of Muncie, Ind., Kenneth of Pontiac, and Alex at home in Alma; three daughters, Mrs. Lydia Lindsay of Alma, Nettie Root of Alma, and Mary Beard, Elm Hall; 28 grandchildren; 75 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Jr. Pease, Jackie Pease, Virgil Lindsay, Leon Root, Gerold Pease, Edward Janoschka, Theodore Smith, and Jim Beard all grandsons of Mrs. Pease.
