  	Ann Fisher lent her home to George Washington for the Battle of White Plains in 1776, and return visits in 1778 and 1781. She later became a pioneer Methodist, and made the Miller home a place of worship until a building was secured. A lengthy eulogy was published in The Methodist Magazine, in December, 1819. --Other Fields History: Elijah and Ann had 5 children, according to the Methodist article. I have identified only 3 from the DAR records.
