  	William D. Aymar whose death is recorded in this paper was born in Eastport, Maine on Oct. 18th, 1815. In his youth he served as clerk in the employ of Aaron Hayden and afterwards engaged in the spar and block making business in which he continued until 1870 when he received an appointment in the Custom House at Saint John port, which position he held at the time of his death. In 1840 he married Catherine Jane Drake of Saint John, N.B. who died April 29th, 1881. He leaves three children, a son and two daughters
