- Mrs. William E. Mabee, 39, of 471 Falls Avenue, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the Wabash County Hospital following surgery there Friday.
Mrs. Mabee, the former Mary Brown, was born Aug. 24, 1918, in Peru to William K. and Edna (Draving) Brown. She was married in 1939 to William E. Mabee of Wabash.
The decedent was a member of the St. Bernard's church, Rosary Society, St. Anne's Study Club and the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are the husband, one son, William (Buddy) Mabee, at home; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. William K. Brown, Peru; two sisters, Mrs. Tudor Glassburn, Peru; and Mrs. Mildred McKinely, Railto, Calif.; and one brother, Edward Brown, Whittier, Calif.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the St. Bernard's church. #Burial will be in the Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel of the Eddingfield Mortary after 7 p.m. Sunday. Rosary serices will be held in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
