Ross Martin Kinyon died December 24, 1944.
Ross M. Kinyon, age 75, of 1250 Kinyon St., who owned and operated the barber shop at 1317 Portage Avenue, died at 9 P.M. Sunday, in the residence after a two month illness. Born in Lowell, Mich., April 4, 1869, he came to South Bend from there 26, years ago. He was married to Elizabeth King, who died in 1934. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs, Bertha Shank of New Carlisle, this country, and Mrs, Beatrice J. Taylor, of Buchanan, Mich.; two sons, Clarence W., of Superior, Wis., and Clifford A. of South Bend; a sister, Mrs Rose Kiel, of Lowell; two brothers, Charles F. of South Bend and Adelbert of Lowell; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call in the Orvis Funeral Home tonight and until the service there at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. George P. Burdon, D.D. pastor of Trinity Methodist Church will officiate with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
