- J. Warren Speaker, 52, of 140 Lakeshore Rd., Fort Erie, Ontario, a former Utican, died Tuesday in Toronto, after a brief illness.
Mr. Speaker was associated with the real estate and insurance firm of Speaker and Piuni, Fort Erie.
He was born July 12, 1908, in Utica, son of George Marsden and Mabel Warren Speaker. He was a lieutenant in the Navy during World War II.
He was a past president of Cherry Hill Golf and Country Club, Ridgeway, Ontario and was a member of the Buffalo Club and the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Club of Buffalo.
He leaves his wife, the former Mildred Mabee; two sisters, Mrs. G. Leslie (Isabel) Dowker,—Greenwich, Conn., and Miss Ruth Speaker, New York City.
The funeral will be held at 2 tomorrow from the Baechler-Funeral Home, Fort Erie, with the Rev. W. B. Irwin, rector of St. Paul's Anglican Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Fort Erie
