- Lee Mabee, 71, died Monday at the McKennan Hospital.
He was born in Parker, married Alma Witte on Aug 26, 1941, and was a lifelong resident of Parker. He managed the Standard Oil Station for 20 years, worked for the Turner County Highway Department four four years, and was Parker City Police Chief for fifteen years. He retired in 1974.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, William, Houghton, Mich; Robert, Vermillion, SD, and Lee Jr, Honolulu, Hawaii; five grandchildren; a brother Ollie, Warner Robins, Ga, and a sister, Mrs Beatrix Stanley, Coos Bay, Ore.
Memorial services will be 10 am Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church. The Hofmeister Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born in Parker, S.D., and was married to Handchin. They lived in Sioux Falls from 1947 to 1951.
Survivors include a son, Dean, Jacksonville, N.C.; a daughter Mrs Robert Tate, Sioux Falls; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a half sister, Mrs Warren Miller. Sioux Falls.
