- Leo Leslie Mabee, 72, of 5442 West Side Highway, Castle Rock, died June 4, 1995 at the tin Portland.
He was born July 22, 1922, in Boise, Idaho, to Oliver and Dovey (Shirley) Mabee, and moved to the local area from Boise in 1955.
Mr Mabee was superintendent of the sewage treatment plant for the city of Longview from 1955 to 1970, and then owned and operated Leo's Industrial Sewer Cleaning from 1970 until 1991.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1045 in Longview, and a member of the Castle Rock Eagles Aerie 556.
His wife Violet died in 1992.
Survivors include his companion Lois Potter of Castle Rock; three daughters, Cherl Sterner and Carma Chick, both of Castle Rock, and Patricia Brown of Kelso; two stepdaughters, Nancy Wynn if Capistrano, Calif, and Carla Iverson of Longview; two brothers, Oliver Mabee of Boise and Leonard Mabee of Blaine, Wash; four sisters Eva Mabee of Blaine, Violet Kalista of Toledo, Shirley Snow of Medford, Ore, and Gloria Joseph of Las Vegas, Nev.; 27 grandchildren; nuner great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral services at Mr Mabee's request. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Columbia Funeral Services.
