- Oliver "Pop" Mabee, 82, a retired truck driver who lived in Longview for 11 years, died Jan 26, 1982, in a hospital in Henderson, Nev.
Mabee, who moved to Henderson in October, was born May 29, 1899, in Chetopa, Kan.
Survivors include his wife, Dovey at home; three sons, Oliver T Mabee of Boise, Idaho, Leo L Mabee of Kelso, and Leonard E. Mabee of Henderson; four daughters, Eva Mae Mabee of Henderson, Violet Marie Nelson of Beaverton, Oregon, Shirley Kay Snow of Orofino, Idaho, and Gloria Rae Moad, of Colorado Springs, Colo; a sister Eva Torrey of Boise, Idaho, 17 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and many neices and nephews. A grandchild preceded him in death.
Services will be in Henderson

- Former Longview resident Dovey V. Mabeer, 90, of Malaga, Wash, died at home Sept 17, 1990. She was born Oct 27, 1899 at Enterprise, Idaho.
Mrs Mabee has a homemaker. She and her husband, the late Oliver Mabee, were martried in 1918. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Surviving her are four daughters, Eva Mae Mabee of Malaga, Violet Kalista of Longview, Shirley Snow of Kingman, Ariz, and Gloria Joseph of Las Vegas; three sons, Oliver "Sonny" Mabee of Boise, Leo Mabee of Kelso and Leonard Mabee of Malaga; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
A service will be held Saturday at Jones and Jones Funeral Home in Wenatchee.

- Leo Leslie Mabee, 72, of 5442 West Side Highway, Castle Rock, died June 4, 1995 at the tin Portland.
He was born July 22, 1922, in Boise, Idaho, to Oliver and Dovey (Shirley) Mabee, and moved to the local area from Boise in 1955.
Mr Mabee was superintendent of the sewage treatment plant for the city of Longview from 1955 to 1970, and then owned and operated Leo's Industrial Sewer Cleaning from 1970 until 1991.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1045 in Longview, and a member of the Castle Rock Eagles Aerie 556.
His wife Violet died in 1992.
Survivors include his companion Lois Potter of Castle Rock; three daughters, Cherl Sterner and Carma Chick, both of Castle Rock, and Patricia Brown of Kelso; two stepdaughters, Nancy Wynn if Capistrano, Calif, and Carla Iverson of Longview; two brothers, Oliver Mabee of Boise and Leonard Mabee of Blaine, Wash; four sisters Eva Mabee of Blaine, Violet Kalista of Toledo, Shirley Snow of Medford, Ore, and Gloria Joseph of Las Vegas, Nev.; 27 grandchildren; nuner great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral services at Mr Mabee's request. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Columbia Funeral Services.

- Leonard Edwin Mabee went home to be with our Lord on August 18, 2012.
Leonard was born May 15, 1934 to Oliver and Dovey Mabee in Boise, Idaho. There he grew up working on the family ranch, logging and working for the Forest Service in Idaho and Eastern Washington.
Leonard moved to Washington in 1971 where he and his brother, Leo built an industrial cleaning business in Longview. While working there he met his wife, Janice of 33 years. Together they raised nine children, 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and dozens of foster children.
Services will be held at the Mt. View Baptist Church in Darrington, WA at 2:00 p.m. with a memorial dinner to follow at the Mansford Grange
