- Services for Ralph H Mabee, 68, of 1149 Sixty-sixth st, who died of cancer Friday morning at home, will be Monday at the Dunn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.
A native of Dunlap, Mr Mabee had lived here about 60 years. He was a real estate broker and insurance agent. Mr Mabee was a member of Westside Church of Christ, Monigona Lodge of the Des Moines Consistory, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine and Hapac Grotto.
Surviving are his widow, Jennie M; a son Charles C of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs Pauline Jorgensen of Des Moines and Mrs Lillian Trotter of Garden Grove, Cal; a sister Mrs Ruth Erwin of Santa Rosa, Cal; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

- Pauline Jorgensen, 94, of Flanagan, Ill., formerly of Terre Haute, died at 6:45 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, at Good Samaritan Home in Flanagan. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert, in 1988. They resided in Terre Haute during the time their son, Richard Jorgensen, was minister of Maplewood Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Bobette Field and husband Roger of Palmdale, Calif.; sons, Richard Jorgensen and wife Coellette of Park Rapids, Minn., and Charles Jorgensen and wife Lisa of Indianapolis; a sister, Lillian Trotter, of Stockton, Calif.; a brother, Charles Mabee and wife Joy of Tucson, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Interment was Jan. 1, 2009, at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Brazil. Calvert Metzler Crematory, Bloomington, Ill., assisted with arrangements

- Charles C. (Chuck) Mabee passed away at the age of 96 on April 25, 2016, at home, under loving care of his wife, Joy, and Casa de la Luz Hospice. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on February 4, 1920, and was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Jennie (Adams) Mabee; and three siblings. He leaves his wife Joy, three children, Gary Mabee (Glenda) of Oklahoma, Penny Mabee Hayden (Mike) of Tucson, and Charlene Mabee Pearlman (Lee) of Dallas; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren..Chuck was very proud of his family and of his Masonic affiliations. He was a 50+ year member of Moingona Lodge, Des Moines, 50+ year member of Scottish Rite, and nearly 50 years with Sabbar Shrine. He was a Past Director of the Royal Order of Jesters, Past President of the Oriental Band and Past Worthy Patron of Eastern Star. Chuck volunteered many hours and was so proud of what Shriners do for children at their 22 hospitals. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sabbar Shrine Transportation Fund
Memorial Service to be held at Sabbar Shrine Center, Tucson, on Friday, May 27, 2016, with Pastor John Cheek, from Northminister Presbyterian Church presiding.
