  	Hundreds of friends of Dr Melbourne Mabee, 60, prominent Santa Ana physician and surgeon, who died of a heart attack Tuesday night at his home, 1915 North Flower street, will pay final tribute to him at services to be conducted tomorrow. The Rev W J Hatter, pastor of the Episcopalian Church of the Messiah, will be in charge of the last rites in the chapel of the Smith and Tuthill funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery in Glendale. Mrs Florence Mabee, wife of the past president of the Santa Ana Kiwanis club who came to this city about five years ago from Chicago, arrived early today by plane from Chicago, where she had been conducting business in connection with an unusually large estate of which she is executrix. Dr Mabee was a graduate of Beloit university, taking his medical degree at Northwestern university about 25 years ago. He entered the practice of medicine in Chicago and at the outbreak of the World war, he enlisted and saw overseas duty. On his arrival in Santa Ana, he was associated with Dr Frank H Paterson in the Santa Ana clinic, retiring from that partnership several months ago to enter private practice.
