- Dr William E Mabee, 63 years of age, who was an instructor in the dental college, University of Southern California, before engaging in the private practice of dentistry in Los Angeles twenty years ago, suffered a stroke of apoplexy yesterday and died at his home, 321 South Van Ness avenue.
Born in Canada, Dr Mabee was a graduate of Iowa State University. Before coming to Los Angeles he practiced dentistry for a short period in Galesburg, Ill. He was a thirty-second Degree Mason. He leaves his widow, Grace Widney Mabee, prominent in musical circles; three children, Mrs Edward G Wormhaudt, Marian Mabee, student at the University of Southern California, and William E Mabee, Jr, student in the dental college, USC, and three brothers and one sister, Dr O. P. Mabee of Galesburg, Dr J. R.. Mabee of Chicago, and Henry and Nellie Mabee of Detroit.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at the Wee Kirk o' the Heather, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.

- Funeral services were pending here Monday for Mrs Grace Widney Mabee, 93, formerly active in Los Angeles music and club circles, who died Saturday in Westport, Conn.
An authority on church music, she had been a member of the California and National Federations of Music Clubs, the Schubert Music Club, the Dominant Club and the Ebell Club and was a former president of the Matinee Musical Club.
Mrs Mabee, widow of Dr William E Mabee, Sr, leaves a son Dr William E Mabee, Jr, Seal Beach; and two daughters, Mrs Marian Harding, Westport, and Mrs Ruth Lachman, New York City.
