  	Ethel Caroline Barker Mabee, 87, Lockwood, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 1992, in Barton County Memorial Hospital, Lamar, after an illness. She was born May 29, 1904 in Beaver, Okla. She liverd most of her life in the Lockwood area. She was a homemaker and a member of Lockwood First Baptist Church and a Bible study class. On May 31, 1928, in Greenfield, she married Wilbert William Mabee, who survives Additional survivors include a son, Clarence E. Mabee, Lockwood; five brothers Ollis Barker, Joplin, Roscoe Barker, San Diego, Calif., Willard Barker, Tulsa, Okla., and Arthur Barker, Jr., Lockwood; two sisters, Pallie Barker Brown, Tacoma, Wash., and Pauline Barker Taylor, Springfield; three grandchildren, William Reid Mabee, Columbia; Linda Mabee Linch; Joplin, and Carol Mabee Jones, Aurora; and four grreat grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Teddy; and a sister, Bernice Barker Bennett. Services will be Wednesday in Lockwood First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Lockwood Cemetery.
