- Our Lord God called Linda Lovette Pikaart into His loving arms on January 3, 2013. Born on April 16, 1941 in Bakersfield, California, Linda was a longtime resident of Edgewood, Washington, until recently moving to Placerville, CA. Linda was preceded in passing by her devoted husband, Merton (Pike) L. Pikaart, in 1996. Linda shared her love of life with her devoted daughters Debra Martinez, Diana Burns, and Sheryl Kesti, 8 amazing grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, brother Mark Mabie, and sister Kathleen Zigelhofer, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Linda's devotion to the Lord showed in every word she spoke and every hand she embraced. With a heart for entertaining, Linda was happiest surrounded by her family and friends, and was always thinking of new reasons to throw a party. She was filled with a passion for sharing God's love, and reveled in memories of her travels to Israel. Her legacy of compassion will live on through the many lives she touched in her amazing, purpose-driven life. A Celebration of Life was held in Placerville, California on January 6, 2013, where dozens of family and friends gathered in honor of her Christ-centered life. A second Celebration of Life will be held at Rainier Hills Christian Fellowship in Buckley, WA on January 21, 2013, 3-6pm.
