Big Sandy, Chouteau County, Montana [8] |
- Following a nervous breakdown and generally impaired health, Mrs. Matilda Maybee, 48 years of age, wife of William Maybee of Big Sandy, passed away at the Deaconess hospital Wednesday morning at an early hour. The body was taken to the W.H. George company chapel.
Several weeks ago Mrs. Maybee was taken ill at the family home in Big Sandy suffering a nervous breakdown. Her condition failed to improve and she was brought to Great Falls for medical attention. For a time she seemed to rally from her illness, but a few days ago had a turn for the worse since which time she has constantly grown weaker.
The Maybees came to Big Sandy from Canada six years ago, and have proved up a homestead in that vicinity. With the matron at the time of her death were her husband, William Maybee, of Big Sandy; a son, William Robinson of Pasco, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. J.E. Tapper, of Pomroy, Wash.; another sister, Mrs. Burcell, of Butte.
Funeral services will be held from the W.H. George undertaking parlors this (Saturday) afternoon at 2 o'clock.
