- One Death and Three Ill of Influenza in one family
Goshen, Feb 7 – One death has occurred in the family of Mrs Henrietta Mabee, in the vicinity of Prospect Lake and three other members of the family are severely ill with influenza. Charles Wesley Mabee died Friday forenoon at 10 o'clock, of the dreaded disease, after an illness of one week, at the age of 24 years, 10 months and 17 days. He was born March 24, 1892 a son of Nicholas D and Henrietta LaDue Mabee and spent all his life on the farm.
The young man was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Goshen, and highly esteemed by all. He was a dutiful son to his mother, who with two other sons, is a sufferer from the same ailment which robbed her of one ipon whom she ddepended so constantly and whose love and devotion was never lacking.
Besides his mother, he is survived by one sister, Mrs John Romer, of Goshen; two brothers, Nicholas and Fred of Hamptonburgh, and Alonzo, Clarence, and John, at home.
The arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made, but it is expected it will be held on Tuesday. The body, which was taken in charge by W. D. VanVliet & Sins, has been removed from the home.

- John M Mabee died Saturday August 6, at his home in Goshen after an illness of one year and a half. His age was 36 years, 5 months, and 2 days. The deceased was born in Goshen March 4, 1885. His parents reside here. He was a member of the Sons of Veterans. He is survived by one sister, Mrs John J Romer, of Florida; four brothers, Fred J and Nicholas Mabee of Goshen, and Clarence B and Alonzo W Mabee of Florida

- Frederick J Mabee of Goshen, a retired foreman at Newberrys Foundry, died Thursday in Goshen Hospital. He was 73.
A life resident of Goshen, Mr Mabee was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He was born in Goshen March 28, 1890, the son of Nicholas D, and Henrietta Ladue Mabee. He was married to the late Arvie Fricks Mabee.
He is survived by a son, Frederick K, of Goshen; three brothers, Nicholas of Goshen and Clarence and Alonzo of Florida; a sister Mrs Henrietta Romer of Florida; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 on Saturday at the Schmick Funeral Home, Goshen, the Rev John A Fitch will officiate. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburgh.
