- Dorothy J. Mabee of Florida, NY, a retired employee of General Uniform Cap Company, Middletown, NY, Balke Products, Maybrook, NY and Chester Valley Inc., Chester, NY, entered into rest Monday, December 1, 2008 in St. Anthony Community Hospital, Warwick. She was 81.
She was born January 23, 1927 in Warwick, NY. She was a member of the Florida Presbyterian Church, and a Trustee for the Florida Cemetery Association.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Richard A. Mabee, at home.

Mrs Mabee was born Nov 5, 1899 in Brooklyn to John and Lena Carlson Granfors. She was married to Alonzo Mabee May 29, 1923 in New York.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Richard of Florida; three sisters, Mrs Edith Ohlsen, Mrs Elsie Hall, and Mrs Edna Englund, all of Florida; and a brother Oscar Granfors of Florida.
The Rev Joseph Sefl will conduct services a 2 p.m. in the Garfield-Vanderbush Funeral Home, Florida. Burial will be in the Florida Cemetery.

- Alonso W. Mabee, 74, of Florida died Sunday at the Arden Hill Hospital after a long illness.
Mr Mabee was born in Goshen on Dec 16, 1898 to Nicholas and Henrietta LaDue Mabee. He was married to Esther Granfors in New York City on May 29, 1923.
Surviving are a son, Richard, of Florida; and a brother, Nicholas Mabee of Goshen.
Services will be a 2 pm Wednesday at the Garfield VanDeburgh Funeral Home, with the Rev Addison officiating. Burial will be in Florida cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 2 to 4 and 7 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday.
