- Helen Mabie died Friday in Holy Name Hospital.
Mrs Mabie, the former Helen Strauss, was born in the Bronx. She resided in Teaneck for the last 61 years.
She was a saleslady for the Arnold Constable Company in Hackensack.
Mrs Mabie was a member of the Teaneck Methodist Church. She was also a lifetime member of the Woman's Society of Christian Service, and a member of the Teaneck Senion Citizens.
Surviving are her son, Elmer of Teaneck; a sister, Isabel White, of Florida; and four grandchildren. Her husband Elmer, died in 1945.
Services will be Tuesday in the Volk Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hackensack Cemetery.

- Elmer Mabie, 50, died yesterday in Englewood Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Teaneck, Mr Mabie had been a yard foreman 17 years with United Hoisting Co. Inc.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 15 in New York.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jacqueline Sesek; four daughters, Susan Roper and Caroline Mabie, both of Englewood, Diane Whalen of Fort Lee, and Teresa Mabie of Teaneck; and aunt, Mrs Edward White in Florida, and two grandchildren.
Services will be tomorrow in Volk Funeral Home of Teaneck, with burial in Hackensack Cemetery.
