- Morris M. Maybee, 73, of New Brighton, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007, at The Medical Center, Beaver. He was born February 5, 1934, in Brockway, Pa., a son of the late Earl W. and Maude E. (Lindy) Maybee. He was retired from the Bulk Mail Facility in Cranberry Township and served a total of 22 years with the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. Morris loved to live his life one day at a time.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Martha J. "Marty" Maybee; a brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Lois Maybee, Pittsburgh; a cousin who was like a sister to him, Beverly and her husband Jim Carol, Buffalo, NY; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his faithful canine companion, "Chico."
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Ave., New Brighton, www.jjsprattfh.com, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. William B. Henry Jr., of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Brighton, officiating.
Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville
