- James E. Maybee, 51, of 1864 Fiero avenue died yesterday at Ellis Hospital following a brief illness. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m from the Bond funeral home with Rev. Delbert Smith officiating. A native of Harold, Ontario, Canada, Maybee was employed here at the GE Knolls atomic laboratory and was a member of the Fisher Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Isabell Striker Maybee, a son Edward Maybee, a daughter, Carol Ann; three brothers, Everett, Willmot and Ernest, all of Harold, Canada; two sisters, Mrs Jack Preston of Harold and Mrs Percy Coutts of Toronto, Canada; also several nieces and nephews

- Funeral services for Edward J. Maybee, 21, who died Thursday at the Boston Naval Hospital, Boston, after a short illness, will be held Monday. The service will be held at 2 p.m. in the Bond funeral home. Burial will be in Memory's Garden.
Mr Maybee, 1002 Fort Hunter Road, Rotterdam, was assigned to the destroyer USS Joseph Kennedy Jr. A member of the naval reserves for the past year, he had been in active navy service for three years.
Born in Sandusky, Ohio, he had lived in the Schenectady area for several years and had attended Mohonasen central school.
Survivors include his wife Mrs Barbara Ann Dussault Maybee; his mother Mrs Paul von Stetina, Rotterdam; and four sisters, Carol Ann Maybee, Beth and Amy von Stetina, all of Rotterdam and Mrs Audrey King of Burnt Hills
