- Del B. Maybee, 76, of 793 Fairmount Ave., West Ellicott, died at 6:10 p.m. Friday (Oct.1, 1982) in Jamestown General Hospital.
He had been employed by Sherman Brothers for 41 years and later by Jamestown Royal Inc. He retired in 1973 from Maddox Table Co. Inc.
A lifelong area resident, he was born in Jamestown on Jan. 23, 1906, a son of the late Burnie F. and Rose A. Kilbow Maybee,
Surviving are his wife, the former Jenie A. Solmonson, whom he married July 12, 1952; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Thompson of Bemus Point; two sons: Richard Maybee of Birmingham, Mich. and James Ronald Maybee of Charlevoix, Mich.; a stepson, Bradley J. Anderson of Yuma, Ariz.; a step-daughter, Irene H. Thompson of Clovis, Calif.; eight grandchildren: Mark and Craig Thompson of Bemus Point, Terry Anne Koetting of Peru, Indiana, Thomas Maybee of Birmingham, Mich., Susie Robertson of Charlevoix, Mich., Jacquelin, Judy and James Maybee of Charlevoix, Mich; seven step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Violet Newton of Mayville.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Chesleigh Maybee in 1980 and Sherwood Maybee in 1969. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery

- Richard P Mabee, 62, a Detroit area Realtor, died Saturday at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
Mr Mabee, of Bloomfield, owned R. P. Mabey Realtors in Novi for nearly seven years. Before that he had been a retailer.
A native of Jamestown NY, Mr Mabee was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a graduate of Bowling Green University in Ohio.
Mr Mabee had diabetes and pneumonia, but the cause of his death is unknown, said his daughter, Terry Ann Koetting.
In addition to his daughter, he is survived by his wife, Mary Lou; a son Thomas, and three grandchildren.
Services will be today at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Birmingham.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit.
