- David O. Mabey was born in Newton, Massachusetts, on November 26, 1938, the oldest son of Hervey O. and Miriam Peckham Mabey.
David has resided in Oxford, NY, for over 20 years with his wife of 54 years, Ellen Walker Mabey. He owned "David Mabey's Antiques". The father of five children, he was also the grandfather of five boys.
David was often seen eating breakfast at Subway in WalMart. He was a faithful volunteer at the New York State Veteran's Home in Oxford.
On December 18, 2013, David died of a massive stroke. He will be sadly missed.
As per David wishes, there will be no formal services or calling hours. Anyone wishing to remember David might consider a donation to the New York State Veteran's Home in Oxford. Arrangements are with the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home
