- Ray M. Mabey died suddenly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday July 26, Ray Manning Mabey, 88 years of age of Saint John West, son of the late Lewis and Florence (Foster) Mabey. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. At the time of his retirement in 1979, he was employed with Saint John Housing Authority. Surviving is one son Richard and his wife Helen Mabey of Saint John also one daughter Joy Lagueux of Pennfield, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Eileen, also three brothers Francis, Reginald (Ted), Wilbur, all formerly of Saint John

- F. Eileen Mabey died at her residence on December 22, 1999 F. Eileen Mabey of Kenebec Manor and formerly of 948 Sea Cliff Dr., Saint John West, wife of Ray Mabey. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Alice Waters. Mrs. Mabey lived all of her life in Saint John and before her retirement she was employed with the C.P.R. as a secretary. She was a former member of the Victoria Street Baptist Church and a member of the Martha Spragg Women's Missionary Society. Surviving in addition to her husband, Ray are one son, Richard and his wife Helen, Saint John West and one daughter, Joy Joy Lagueux of Pennfield, one brother, Les Waters at Saint John, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one niece and three nephews. Predeceased by one sister Ethel Kinney and an infant brother.
