- Mrs. William S. De Mott, who claimed to be a direct descendant of William Brewster, the elders, of Plymouth died last, night at her home, 637 Washington, after a long illness. Born in Hempstead Nov. 24; 1864, Mrs. De Mott was the daughter of the late Erastus A. and Janette Mabie Brewster, originally of Schoharie. She lived in Albany more than a half a century and was a member of Albany Chapter No. 12, OES. Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James C. W. Burch; a sister, Mrs. Julia E. Swan, Syracuse, and a brother, Joseph B. Brewster, Gloversville. Funeral services will be at 2 p m Saturday at the Tebbutt Memorial Chapel, 176 State, with the Rev. M. Stephen James of First Church officiating. Burial will be in Valley Cemetery, Sloansville.
