- Orlando, Fla – Athol K. Mabee, 92, Orlando, Fla, a former South Dakota resident, died April 14, in Orlando.
Mr Mabee was born October 26, 1893, in Turner County. He married Helen Skinner July 3, 1921 in Parker. In 1950 they moved to Sioux Falls where Mr Mabee was employed with the John Deere Co. And Ford Motor Co. As a dealer for 24 years.
His wife died in 1979.
Mr Mabee moved to Orlando in 1980 and married Cleo Wainwright July 11, 1980. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2821, Parker, the Masons and Eastern Star Parker Lodge No. 30, and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Robert Wainwright, Little Rock, Ark.; a sister Jessie Fox, Seattle, and a niece, Jeri Skinner Teslow, Sioux Falls.
Services were in Orlando, with burial in Forest City, Fla.
