For over 25 years, Vanita had been employed at and retired from Hayssen Manufacturing and was a member of the Silver Society. She was also a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Sheboygan and a past member of United Methodist Women. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and "manhattan madness."
Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Gerald) Rahn of Appleton; her son, Larry (Paulette) Hinkelman of Sheboygan; a granddaughter, Wendy Voigt; three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Andrew and Katherine; two brothers, Byron (Jean) Ferguson of Oshkosh and Alden (Susan) Ferguson of Sherwood; a sister, Lowene Campbell of Oshkosh; sisters-in-law Jean, Ruth, and Nancy; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
