Stephen Walter Mabie, 79, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Steve went on to proudly serve his country as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Following his military service, he dedicated his life to providing for and protecting those he loved. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family, his lifelong passion for his hobbies, and a sharp, unforgettable sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to every room he entered.
Steve was a devoted family man who took immense pride in watching his family grow over the decades. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Marie; his brother, Walter; his sister, Marlene; and his beloved grandson, Nicolas.
He leaves behind a rich legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his loving spouse of 54 years, Nancy, with whom he built a beautiful life and a lasting partnership. He is also survived by his five children, Steph, John, Elizabeth, Elyse, and William; and his seven cherished grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, Sarah, Emily, Luke, Sophia, and Lewis, all of whom carried a special place in his heart.
