- Edgar Bull died at his home near Bolivar, Sunday evening, February 18th, at 11-30 o'clock, of pneumonia, after an illness of only a few days duration. He was born a t Cottons, November 11,1840, and had always been a resident of this county. For many years Mr. Bull lived on a farm west of Canastota, now owned by the Murray estate, and several years ago moved to the farm on which he died. He is survived by a widow, formerly Miss Harriet Cady, his mother, four daughters, Mrs. Flora Mabie of Jainesville, Mrs. Fred Bender of Indian Opening, and Misses Minnie and Harriet Bull, who live at home ; two sons, Cady Bull of Syracuse, and Frank Bull of South Dakota, also two brothers, Charles Bull of the town of Lincoln, and Luman Bull of Indiana. Another brother, Marvin Bull, died only a short time ago of pneumonia.
Edgar Boll was a well known and popular man in this and surrounding towns ; possessed of a brilliant intellect, sparkling wit and biting sarcasm, well read and thoroughly posted on all events of the State and Nation. As a friend and neighbor h e was kind and generous, out of the largeness of his heart being always ready and willing to help and accommodate. To his family he was a loving and devoted husband and father. Edgar Bull was that type of man who will be greatly missed and always remembered.
Funeral services were held at the family home Thursday, at one p. m., and burial was made in Lenox Rural Cemetery at Quality Hill

- Miss Minnie Bull died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. Oliver Mable, Jr., Bolivar, after an Illness of several months. Besides Mrs. Mabie the survivors of Miss Bull are her mother, two sisters, Mrs. Frederick Bended and Mrs. Henry Mabie; two brothers, Daniel Cady Bull, Syracuse, and Frank Bull. Funeral services were held at the house this afternoon, with burial at Quality Hill cemetery.

- Harriet Cady Bull, widow of Edgar Bull, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. C. Mabie at Bolivar, Tuesday, March 17. She had been in poor health for some time.
Mrs. Bull was born at Oak Hill 69 years ago and most of her life had been spent in the towns of Lenox and Sullivan, She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Franklin Cady. She is survived by one brother, Daniel Cady of Cazenovia; two sons, C. F. Bull of Mason City, Iowa; and Daniel Cady Bull of Morrisville, also three daughters, Mrs. O. C. Mabie, Mrs. Henry Mabie of Pools Brook and Mrs Fred Bender of Indian Opening. Funeral services were held Thursday and were private. Rev. F. W. Betts of Syracuse officiating and burial was made In Lenox rural cemetery.

- Funeral services for Mrs. Florrie Bull Mabie, formerly of Chittenango, were held Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thelma Mabie Meier, 208 Green street, Syracuse. Dr. Frederick W. Betts, pastor of the First Universalist Church, officiated. Burial was made in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Mabie died Saturday in Syracuse. Mrs. Mabie was born February 28, 1871, on Liberty street, halfway between Chittenango and Canastota. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Harriet Cady Bull. She was married to Oliver Mabie in 1892 and they made their home in Chittenango up to ten years ago, when they moved to Syracuse. Surviving Mrs. Mabie are her husband. Oliver Mabie; two sons, Edgar Bull Mabie, Donald Francis Mabie: two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Mabie Meier and Mrs, Doris Mabie West, all of Syracuse; two sisters. Mrs. Fred C. Bender of Canastota and Mrs. Henry K. Mabie of Kirkville, and two brothers, Daniel Cady Bull of Syracuse, and C. Francis Bull of Mason City, Ia .
