- Mrs Augusta Stabe Mabie, 77, wife of Edward P Mabie, 112 Forbus street, and mother of Miss Dena Mabie, secretary to District Attorney Schwartz, died this morning at her home. Although she had been in poor health for some time, she had been able to be about her home and her death had not been expected.
Born in Germany, the daughter of the late Herman and Amelia Stabe, Mrs Mabie had been a resident here for 42 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband and daughter, Dena, are three other daughters, Mrs William Creighton and Mrs Edward Nyack here and Mrs Mary Goff, Philadelphia; a son Jacob C Mabie, here; a sister, Mrs Jacob Schlimmer, here; a brother August Stabe, Antigo, Wisc; and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

- Edward P Mabie, 80, father of Miss Dena Mabie who is secretary to District Attorney Grady, died last night in Vassar hospital. He had been ill for some time.
Mr Mabie, who had made his home at 112 Forbus street, was born in the Town of Rhinebeck, the son of the late Clinton and Marion Phillips Mabie. He had resided her for some years and was a retired machinist.
Surviving in addition to Miss Mabie, are two other daughters Mrs Edna Creighton and Mrs Edward Nyack, here; a son, Jacob C Mabie, here; and a brother Washington Mabie, Rhinecliff. His wife Mrs Augusta Stabe Mabie, died a few years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted at the William G Miller Funeral Home Monday. Dr Arthur G Carroll, minister of the Washington Street Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Poughkeepsie Rural cemetery.

- G. Washington Mabie, Rhinecliff, who celebrated his 100th birthday anniversary November 20, 1962, died Wednesday night in Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. He entered the hospital last Thursday after suffering a fall at his home.
Mr. Mabie was born in the town of Rhinebeck, Nov. 20, 1862 at Flat Rock. The Mabie family lived in a stone house located at the intersection of what is now Route 308 and the River Road, leading into Ankony Farms. He attended the Flat Rock School which was the only school in that part of town, until the Rhinecliff School was built in 1878. At an early age his family moved to Hutton Farm, now occupied by the Riverside Farms. He went to work as a boy on The Hutton Farm. Later he was employed by Robert Suckley as dairyman, and he also worked on the Levi P. Morton Estate in various capacities. In 1910 he went into the trucking business which continued until 1940 when he retired.
He had lived in his present home since 1876. which is also occupied by his nephew Elmer F. Harrington.
He was a member of Rhinebeck Methodist Church for 79 years.
Surviving, besides Mr. Harrington, are two other nephews. George Harrington of Rhinecliff and Jacob Mabie of Poughkeesie, and three nieces, M rs. Barzelle Cole of Red Hook, Mrs. Dena Mabie and Mrs. Edna Creighton, both of Poughkeepsie, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock at the Dapson Funeral Home, 65 W. Market street, Rhinebeck. The Rev. Robert Hankins. pastor of the Methodist parish, will officiate.

- Jacob C Mabie, 71, of 17A Rhobella Drive, Town of Poughkeepsie, died Friday at St Francis Hospital.
He was retired from the Standard Gage Co, where he had been chief inspector, and was active in several organizations.
Mr Mabie was born Sept 25, 1898, in Rhinebeck, son of Edward and Augusta Stabbe Mabee.
He was married to the former Florence Marion Houston, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs Clyde (Geraldine) Lewis; two sisters, Miss Dena Mabie and Mrs William (Edna) Creighton; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mr Mabie was a communicant of the Holy Trinity Church...
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Mulvey Funeral Home and at Holy Trinity Church, where a Requiem Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
