- Funeral services for Mrs Emeline DuBois Maybee, a widow of John Maybee, will be held at St Paul's Episcopal Church, of which she was a member, this afternoon. The Rev Roland J Bunten, rector of the church, will officiate. Prayers will be said at her late residence, 2 May Street, before the church service.
Mrs Maybee, who died at her home on Monday after an illness of five months, was a charter member of Excelsior Rebekah Lodge, No 7, Moll Pitcher Council, No 44, Daughter of America, and Camp 11, Patriotic Order of America.
Surviving Mrs Maybee are one son, Brundage; a granddaughter, Alta; four sisters, Mrs Charles H Andrews, Mrs John Case, Mrs A H Baldwin, and Mrs M T Baumbusch; and two brothers, William and Charles DuBois.

- Louis Maybee who was superintendent at the Levi P Morton estate, of Rhinebeck, for 54 years, died at the home of his nephew Brundage Maybee, 310 Mansion street, Poughkeepsie early yesterday. He was in his 75th year, and came to Poughkeepsie from Rhinecliff a month ago because of ill health.
Mr Maybee is a former chief of the Rhine Cliff Fire Department.
The survivors include his nephew, and a grandniece, Alta Hunt, also of the Mansion street address; and a brother Canderhof [Vanderhof] Maybee of Millbrook.
The funeral services will be held at St Paul's Episcopal church here next Tuesday afternoon with the Rev Roland J Bunten officiating. Burial will be at the family plot at the Rhinebeck cemetery.

- A state inheritance tax of $200.13 has been imposed on the $20,012.73 net estate left by Louis Maybee, resident of Rhinebeck, who died Oct 2, according to a state estate transfer tax proceedings approved by Surrogate Quinterro and William B Duggan, state tax appraiser-attorney.
The gross estate was appraised at $21,591.68 and deductions totaled $1,578.95, for funeral and administrative expenses.
Mr Maybee left a will dated March 10, 1939, and witnessed by Benson R Frost and Jessie Snyder. Richard F Russell is the attorney.
He bequeathed all tools, clothing, and other personal property, except cash in banks, to a nephew, Brundage Maybee, city; $300 to a cousin Margaret Harrington, Rhinecliff, and $450 for erection of a monument for his brother Vanderhoff Maybee. The residuary estate was left in trust in the Fallkill [Wallkill] National Bank and Trust company, to be paid to a niece, Alta J P Hunt, at the rate of $10 per month.

- Brundage Maybee, 72, of 29 Grand avenue, died at Vassar hospital this morning after a brief illness. He had been a lifelong city resident.
Born here Feb 3,, 1890, he was the son of the late John and Emeline DoBois Maybee. He married the former Miss Grace Wygant in St Paul's Episcopal church, May 30, 1913.
Mr Maybee was educated in city schools. He had attended the Arlington Reformed church.
He had been a printer employed by the Lansing and Broas Printing company until his retirement in 1958. He had been a lifelong member of the Exempt Fireman's association, the Booth Hose company and the Arlington Engin company.
