- Mrs. Laura L. Mabie died at her home on. Brookside avenue,. Danbury, Conn., on Monday after a year's illness from a complication of diseases. Mrs. Mabie was a native of Brooklyn and went to Danbury shortly after her marriage to George E. Mabie in 1881. She was in her fifty-seventh year. Mrs. Mabie is survived, besides her husband, by one son, Martin B. Mabie, and two grandchildren, the Misses Harriet and Margaret Mabie. Mrs. Mabie was the daughter of George and Harriet Bloy of Brooklyn The funeral was held at the family home, 1 Brookside avenue, this afternoon, the Rev. E. Jay Teagarden, pastor of the Church of Christ. Officiating. The interment was in Wooster Cemetery at at Danbury
