- Aaron A Mabie, Sr, stationary engineer, of 46 West Broadway died yesterday in the home of his daughter, Mrs William McKelvey, 285 West Broadway, after an illness of four weeks. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.
Mr Mabie had lived in Paterson the past 55 years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Firemen and Oilers Local No 199. His birthplace was Ridgewood.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon in the McKelvey home. The Rev Henry Sluyter of the Second Reformed Church will conduct the rites. Burial will follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery.
Mr Mabie leaves three sons, Aaron A Mabie, Jr, of Bridgeport, Conn, and Howard and Charles Mabie of Paterson; two daughters, Mrs Lawrence McGill and Mrs McKelvey; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

- Howard Mabie, 78, of Lackawana Avenue, died Friday in Preakness Hospital, Wayne.
Mr Mabie was born in Paterson and lived there most of his life before moving to West Paterson seven years ago. He was a retired glassworker.
He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the 59th Pioneer Infantry Supply Division.
Funeral will be Tuesday at Moore's Home for Funerals, Paterson. The Rev Robert Kirchgessner, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Paterson, will officiate. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs William (Dollie) McKelvey of North Haledon, and a brother, Charles Mabie of West Paterson.
