- Butler - Funeral services will be held this afternoon for Mrs Anna J Mabie, from her home on South Gifford Street. Mrs Mabie died suddenly at the home of her daughter, Mrs Newton Smith, of Pompton Plains, on Friday evening. Mrs Mabie was sixty-five years old and was the widow of Thomas Mabie, and the daughter of the late George McGee, of Echo Lake.
She is survived by five children, Frank and Flora Mabie, Mrs J. Hyland, Mrs Robert Jahn, of Teaneck, and Mrs Newton Smith, of Pompton Plains. Mrs Mabie was a Gold Star mother, having lost a son, Ray, who was killed in action in France in 1918. The interment will be made in Mt Rest cemetery.

- Mrs Elizabeth Hyland, wife of Joseph Hyland, died Friday afternoon at her home on Carey avenue after a long illness. She was thirty-nine.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the home with Rev Frederick Pettet, of Butler, officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Rest cemetery in Butler.
Surviving Mrs Hyland are her husband; one brother Frank, of Gifford street; two sisters, Mrs Frank McCue, of High Street; Mrs Newton Smith, of Pompton Plains; a son Joseph Jr, and a daughter, Joan.

- Frank Mabie, 54, died in Morristown Sunday following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at his residence, 24 Gifford street, Thursday afternoon with the Rev George W Clement, pastor of the Butler Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Rest Cemetery.
Mr Mabie is survived by his wife, Mrs Frances McConnell Mabie; and two sisters, Mrs Frances McCue of Butler, and Mrs W Newton Smith of Pompton Plains.

- Francis H McCue, 74, of 105 High Street, died Saturday at the Idylease Nursing Home, Newfoundland, after a long illness. Born in Butler, he was graduated from the New York University School of Law. He practiced law here for over 40 years before retiring 10 years ago.
Mr McCue was a member of the First Baptist Church, a former vice-president of the Butler Bank, a former director of the Butler and Bloomingdale Savings and Loan Association, and a member of the New Jersey Bar Association for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his wife Flora, and three sisters, Mrs Ruth M Van Dien and Miss Orpah McCue of Bloomingdale and Mrs Frederick (Beatrice) Pettet of Butler.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow

- Services will be held tomorrow for Mrs Flora Mabie McCue, 82 of 105 High Street, who died yesterday at the Lincoln Park Nursing Home, after a long illness.
Born in Jacksonville, Fla, she resided in Butler most of her life. Mrs McCue was a member of the First Baptist Church of Butler, and the Ladies Auxiliary of John A Dean Post, American Legion of Butler.
Predeceased by her husband, Frances H in 1966, she leaves two sisters, Mrs Frederick Frances (Irene) Jahn of Pompton Lakes, and Mrs Alice Smith of Pompton Plains.
The funeral will be Tuesday from the Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale. Interment at Mt Rest Cemetery, Butler.
