Warsaw, Indiana [5] |
- Mrs. Charles C. (Olive) Weimer, of North Webster, aged 73, died suddenly at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at her home there. Death, which was due to a heart attack, was unexpected, as she had not been ill. Mrs. Weimer, who had lived all of her life in the North Webster community, was born in March of 1877 at Saw Mill Lake, the daughter of Eli and Eliza (Beezley) Mabie. Mr. and Mrs. Weimer resided for many years on a farm near Saw Mill Lake. Following Mr. Weimer's death, which occurred 12 years ago she moved to North Webster, where she had lived for 10 years. She was a member of the North Webster Methodist church. Surviving relatives include six daughters: Mrs. Clarence (Elsie) Lewallen, Mrs. Elmer (Bernice) Baugher, and Mrs. Elma (Florence) Shock of Syracuse, Mrs. Leander (Aura) Yoder, of Leesburg, Mrs. Avery (Blanche) Garber, of Warsaw, and Mrs. Chester (Hannah) Payne, of North Webster; 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. DST, Friday, at the North Webster Methodist church, with the pastor, Rev. James Rhine officiating. Burial will be in the North Webster cemetery. Friends may call at the residence after 2 p.m. Thursday until 12 o'clock noon on Friday, and at the church after that hour. The Troxel funeral home is in charge of the arrangements
