- The body of Mrs. Lucetia L. (Young) Mabie was brought back to Neillsville from Ellendale, North Dakota on Tuesday and will be buried in the Town of York, where she lived for 41 years.
Deceased came to Clark County 55 years ago and settled with her first husband, Mr. Young, on a farm in York Center, seven miles northeast of Neillsville. To Mr. & Mrs. Young were born three sons, who survive her: H. C. Young of Highland City, Florida; Irving Young of Christie; and Waldo Young of St. Ignatius.
Mr. Young preceded his wife in death while the family was living in their York Center farm and several years later, Mrs. Young was married to Mr. Mabie. After residing on the old farm for a few years, Mr. & Mrs. Mabie moved 14 years ago to North Dakota and had made their home there with relatives.

Neillsville, Clark County, Wisconsin [10] |
- Irving Young received a telegram Saturday from his niece at Ellendale, North Dakota telling of the death of his mother, Mrs. Lansing Mabie. Mrs. Mabie had been making her home with her son for the past ten years and her death was over 90 years of age. She was born in New York State and was married to Nelson Young and to this union five sons were born, three of whom survive their parents - Jack of Ellendale, Wallace of Oregon City, Oregon and Irving of the Town of Weston. Mr. Young died many years ago and his widow later was married to Lansing Mabie. They lived on a farm in the Town of York for many years and when Mr. Mabie died his wife made her home with her children. She was a most estimable lady and was a very large circle of friends in this vicinity. She is survived by her three sons and sixteen grandchildren. The remains of Mrs. Mabie were brought to Neillsville Tuesday afternoon and taken to the Lowe Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon and interment made in the cemetery at York Center
