- Leonard Mabee father of L. A. Mabee of this village died Tuesday January 8. at the home of his daughter in Kendall. The funeral was held Wednesday and the body was brought to Holley and buried beside that of his wife, who died just four months ago.

- Leonard Alonzo Mabee died Sunday, September 2, aged 65 years. Mr. Mabee had been in poor health for over two years, his last illness lasting six weeks.
Besides hi wife, he leaves one sister, Mrs. George Robinson of Sandy Creek.
He had been in the employ of the Hudson Canning Company for many years.
Mr. Mabee belonged to the Maccabees, and at the time of his death had been Sir Knight Commander of the Holley Lodge for three years.
The funeral will be held from the home, No. 51 Jackson Street, on Thursday, September 6, at 2 P. M., ; Rev. O. R. Newman officiating, and interment will be made in Hillside cemetery.
